Puthiya Mugham director Diphan passes away at 45!

Malayalam filmmaker Diphan, known for his brilliant film Leader is no more. The news of his death had come as a shock to the whole Malayalam film industry.

Diphan was suffering from a kidney related disorder and succumbed to liver cirrhosis and kidney failure. He breathed his last on Monday. The director was admitted at a private hospital in Kochi and the doctors tried their best to save him. 

Director A K Sajan, a close friend of Diphan says, “He was ailing from liver cirrhosis and kidney failure. The body will be taken to Trivandrum today and will be cremated on the next day.

Also known as Deepan, he's a well known face in the industry and has been the helmer of films like Hero, SIM, Puthiya Mukham.
