Bollywood's gutsy actress Preity Zinta has hit the headlines again after controversial fight with Ness wadia. Preity, on her outing to watch the movie 'Bang Bang', threw a man out of the cinema hall as he refused to stand during the National anthem. This patriotic act of hers has surely gained her applauses from admirers. But on the other hand, it seems that the Twitterati are not quite impressed with this act.
Though Preity's actions were heroic, Twitter users have lashed out against the feisty actress.
Many announced that the actress should be charged of 'goondaism' in a public place. Several tweets also said that she should join the BJP party for her 'hyper-nationalism'. On the other hand, one of the leading national daily supported her by stating, 'Preity has proved that she is a “no-nonsense” girl.
Following the uproar on Twitter, the actress later deleted the tweet. “For the record it was not me but the people in the theater who asked him to leave. I seconded it so there would be no trouble," the actress later tweeted clarifying her stand.
Here's how Twitterati reacted to the actress's behaviour:
.@realpreityzinta Isn't playing our National Anthem in cinema hall settings before watching movies like Bang Bang disrespecting it? @bprerna
