Doctors treating actress Pratyusha Banerjee's boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh on Monday said that there is an improvement in the condition of Singh and have opined that Singh might get discharged in couple of days. Meanwhile, Singh's defence lawyers had applied for his anticipatory bail in the High Court and the court would be hearing his plea on Tuesday.

While speaking to media, consulting doctor of Singh Dr Santosh Goel said, "Rahul's health condition is improving and if the court orders or if the police wants then he can be shifted to a government hospital. He is still under psychiatric treatment and most probably he will be discharged in two days."

"The police is still investigating the matter and all the details, pertaining to case, will be analysed properly and action will be taken after a proper medical examination of the accused. Also, more evidences would be collected against the accused to bolster our case" said deputy commissioner of police, Dhananjay Kulkarni.
