Akshay's upcoming film is based on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan...

Akshay Kumar recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and spoke to him about his upcoming film titled Toilet-Ek Prem Katha, which is based on the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative of the PM.
The actor took to his Twitter account to share the news with his fans and wrote, "Met PM @narendramodi and got the opportunity to tell him about my upcoming 'Toilet-Ek Prem Katha.' His smile at just the title made my day!"
Now, PM Modi, replied to him, giving his best wishes for the film. He wrote, "Happy to have met. My best wishes."

The movie, which stars Bhumi Pednekar alongside Akshay, has been directed by Shree Narayan Singh. Akshay has also produced the film which is slated to hit the theatres on June 2.
On the work front , Akshay Kumar is currently shooting for Padman with Sonam Kapoor while Bhumi is busy in filming Shubh Mangal Saavdhan with Ayushmann Khurrana.
