Known for making Punjabi Sufi music popular worldwide, Wadali Brothers Puranchand and Pyarelal hail from a village near Amritsar. The duo started off this singing career by singing bhajans at Harballah temple in Jalandhar. They are known for their various styles of singing such as Kaafian, ghazal and bhajan. Apart from their rendition of Bullehsah’s Ghoonghat 'chak o sajna' and Amir Khusrau’s Damadam mast qalandar, they have also sung popular Bollywood numbers like 'Aye Rangrez Mere' in 2011 film Tanu Weds Manu and 2011's Mausam 'Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi', 'Tu maane ya na maane' among others.
