Dealing with the sensitive issue of god-men and religious rituals, PK might have had stirred a bizarre controversy with its content but the audiences seemed to have enjoyed he film to the tee. As a result of which, the Aamir Khan-Anushka Sharma starrer is zooming its way to the Rs 300 crore club.

PK which recorded the fastest 200 crore in Bollywood ever went to set new records, as it passed Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's previous records and also overtook Aamir's previous record set with Dhoom 3. While Aamir's D:3 earned in the range of Rs 283 crore, PK surpassed the amount in a record 14 days and earned around 9 crore on its third Saturday, which is outstanding.

With that, PK's total collection stands at a mammoth Rs 293 crore nett. Given the circumstances and the repeat audience index the film has been enjoying, PK will score over Rs 10 crore on its third Sunday taking the lifetime collections past the 300 crore mark.

This will be India's first film to do so and Aamir will yet again be the forerunner among all the Bollywood big-guns to enter into the 300 crore club. He previously inaugurated the 100 crore  and 200 crore clubs with films like Ghajini and 3 Idiots respectively.
