Paris yatra for Irrfan Khan

Irrfan Khan has won the Best Actor at the Saint Jean De Luz Film Festival in Paris. He flew into Paris on Wednesday night to recieve his first award for The Lunchbox. Irrfan says, “The Lunchbox is a very special film with such a simple and heart warming story and an universal appeal.

The film has got a great response and has been hugely appreciated pan India and internationally. It feels great to receive an award in the global capital of romance — Paris, for our sweet love story.”

The actor doesn’t want to comment on The Good Road going for the Oscars instead of his film. He’d rather talk about his own film. “The Lunchbox started its journey from India on a high note. It’s going to win the hearts of the rest of the world in coming months and create a buzz and new perception about Indian cinema.  I’m very pleased to be awarded for this ‘love box’.”
