SS Rajamouli's much ambitious magnum opus Baahubali took years to be conceived and few more years to be shot on a grand scale. Finally, the film hit theatres this Friday and has had a great start at the ticket windows. But here's one secret. Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who play the lead stars in the film weren't Rajamouli's first choice. Initially he had planned to make the film in Hindi with two Bollywood actors - Hrithik Roshan and John Abraham.

The film which has been made in Tamil and Telugu has been dubbed in three different languages including Hindi. But the initial plan was to make Baahubali in Hindi with the two actors and then dub it in different languages. We hear that the director had approached the two stars and requested them to give him some time for narration. He also had sent the scripts to the actors. But neither Hrithik nor John showed any interest in the film and Rajamouli chose to make it with Prabhas and Rana instead.

Now that the movie has certainly become the biggest Indian motion picture ever, we are sure both the Dhoom baddies will miss the opportunity of starring in the magnum opus.
