Nayanthara's 'Nenu Rowdy Ne' gets a good opening in Telugu

This movie starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati was a superhit in Tamil. Director Vignesh Shivan's Naanum Rowdy Thaan has now released in Telugu as Nenu Rowdy Ne after three months. The movie seems to have got off to a good start as most of the reviews are positive.

This dark comedy was well received by the Tamil audience. Nayanthara is a big name in Telugu cinema and the filmmakers would have wanted to cash in on her popularity. Most of those in the trade believe that the Telugu version of the movie will be profitable for the producer. Producer Koneru Kalpana has released it in Telugu. In Tamil, it was produced by actor Dhanush's production house.
