Nagarjuna-K Raghavendra Rao mythological film titled 'Baba Hathi Ram Ji'

The combination of Akkineni Nagarjuna and K Raghavendra Rao is all set to make a grand comeback. They are a teaming up for a movie in the devotion genre titled Baba Hathi Ram Ji.

The duo earlier gave devotional classics like Annamayya, Sri Rama Dasu and the moderately successful Shirdi Sai. This film will be produced by Raghavendra Rao under his Sri Raghavendra Movie Corporation banner.

The script is reportedly being readied by J K Bharavi of Annamayya fame and will be a spiritual experience for today’s viewers. K. Raghavendra Rao has been reportedly working to make this film memorable for Nagarjuna who recently changed his script selection after his Bhai debacle and going after good content films.

As per sources, Nagarjuna will be seen as Baba Hathi Ram Ji, who is a great devotee of Lord Balaji and veteran actor Suman is going to play the role of Lord Balaji. The storyline of this film will be quite interesting.

Baba Hathi Ram Ji is a North Indian, who settled in South India and constructed a small math. Every day he worshipped Lord Balaji of Tirupathi in his math. Lord Balaji was pleased with his devotion and used to come and play dice with Baba Hathi Ram Ji. Even after his jiiva-samadhi, his math exits today opposite the temple in Tirumala.
