Nach Baliye 7: Himmanshoo Malhotra and Amruta Khanvilkar talk about winning the show

The celebrated dance reality show Nach Baliye 7 has come to an end and Himmanshoo Malhotra and his better half Amruta Khanvilkar have walked away with the trophy. Beating Upen Patel and Karishma Tanna, Rashami Desai and Nandish Sandhu by a huge margin, the couple emerged victorious, purely on the basis of audience votes in the finale.

In an interview with BollywoodLife, the winners opened up about lifting the trophy. Happy and excited, Amruta said, “It feels like we are blessed. If his father was here with us now, he would be dancing more than Himmanshoo. But I am sure he’s up there and really proud of us.”

Himmanshoo on the other hand told Bollywoodlife, “It feels like our prayers have been answered and our hard work has been paid off. We are grateful to all those who prayed and voted for us.”

They also spoke about how their relationship has evolved through the course of the show. Ask about changes and the couple smiles. “I don’t think there is anything about each other we didn’t know before. We always knew everything but I think we moved one step forward in exploring ourselves and our relationship,” Himmanshoo replied.

Amruta had a different thing to say, though. “On a funny note, I discovered that I don’t mind it when he interrupts me or tells me what to do. I realised that he doesn’t mind me dominating him when it comes to dancing.”
