My eyes helped: Aditya Pancholi

Aditya Pancholi, who features as a vazir at the Maratha royal court in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, says it was a dream come true for him. 

“Sanjay and I been neighbours for years. I am a  big fan of his cinema. But I never asked him for a part. I was confident he’d approach me when he had something for me,” he shares. Revealing what clinched the role for him, Aditya adds, “Aristocracy in the Maratha durbar was filled with light-eyed people. I guess my eyes helped.”
