A personification of elegance and courage, Sushmita, after becoming Miss Universe, adopted two girls in 2000 and 2010. Single-handedly, she has brought up both Renee and Alisah, becoming an inspiration to many!
Raveena Tandon
She was just 21 and ruling Bollywood when she adopted Pooja and Chhaya. She brought them up single-handedly till she married Anil Thadani. She also has two biological children, Ranbir and Rasha. Pooja got married earlier this year and pictures of Raveena giving away her daughter were all over the Internet!
Neena Gupta
Neena Gupta was with the legendary cricketer, Vivian Richards and dared to have a child without getting married. Making no qualms about having a child out of wedlock, Neena Gupta raised Masaba all on her own. Masaba is now a force to reckon with in the Indian fashion industry today.
