Pop sensation Miley Cyrus has come a long way from her Disney days as she tops Maxim's Hot 100 list.
An excited Miley revealed on Twitter that she is number 1 on Maxim's annual Hot 100 list, even before any official announcement was made by the magazine.
She also posted an exclusive picture of herself from the magazine's upcoming racy spread, in which she is lying seductively on a beach in a gold swimsuit that also matches her platinum-blond pixie cut. She also sports an assortment of chain necklaces that enhances her look.
Miley shared the same image on her new Instagram profile, and wrote:
Miley, who has displaced Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli as the reigning queen of Maxim's annual Hot 100 list, recently showed off quite a bit of skin in a racy cover shoot for V magazine.
With Bar Refaeli, Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis, Katy Perry and Olivia Wilde topping the list last year, Miley has some big shoes to fill in.
In a recent interview with Elle UK, Miley, who posed topless for a shoot with Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair magazine at the tender age of 15, said that she no longer wanted to strip down for photo shoots.
"A star is someone who doesn't have to take her clothes off to be sexy because you naturally have star power. 'Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your t***. "
"Sex does sell, but you have to find a way that's not just showing your tits. I don't want to be a glorified model. They just walk on stage and it's all about their clothes - or lack of clothes," he said.
The annual Maxim party celebrating the special issue dedicated to the 100 most beautiful women of the year is set to take place on May 15 in Hollywood.
While Maxim has yet to comment on Miley's claims, this is not the first time a celebrity has blown the lid off her upcoming magazine cover.
