First chapter from Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana's Meri Pyaari Bindu is out and we love it...
Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana are teaming up for YRF's next - Meri Pyaari Bindu. The first teaser, first song and now the first chapter of the relationship saga is out and people are already loving it.
While the film traces the journey and the ups and downs in the relationship between Ayushmann's Abhimanyu and Pari's Bindu, the makers have decided to divide the trailer into 5 chapters - each having a space and a story of its own. The backdrop and setting of Kolkata is well used and the twist in the relationship too is heart-breaking but the makers don't indulge in the drama more than it's required in the teasers they plan to unveil.
The first chapter titled 'Samosa Aur Chutney' is out and it captures the first meeting of a young Bindu and Abhi. Both the kids who have played the two characters have done an outstanding job and it's set against the backdrop of the 1983 World Cup when both of them are just 5 years old. You have watched and loved it already.

#Chapter 2- Gabbar Aur Sambha
This will have both Abhi and PAri in their formative years and how the two bond during their school and college days. Why Gabbar aur Sambha? Well, watch the teaser to find out. All that we can tell you is this teaser is set in an examination hall.
#Chapter 3- Kalkatte ki Rockstar
The third chapter gives an insight into what Pari's character wants to be in life. Her ambition to be a rockstar and have millions of fans taking her name and singing her songs is that she desires. While Pari sings some of the reprise versions of old Bollywood numbers, Ayushmann is the one helping her in chorus.
#Chapter 4- Maa Vs Bindu
Ayushmann and Parineeti's love story begins at first sight. And then you have the strict Bengali mother who despises the neighbour girl because of her close proximity to her son. The usual maa versus girlfriend theme has been beautifully used in this one. Mixed with a lot of humour and a lot of love.
#Chapter 5- Mixtape
Have you heard of what a mixtape is? An 80s or 90s kid would know what it is. It's actually an empty tape where you record and put your favourite songs - whichever ones you really want to keep. And Pari and Abhi have a unique way of looking at their relationship - each special moment of their life is captured through a beautiful Hindi song that matches it.
An interesting and extremely novel idea, we are already floored with all the five teasers. Wait till you watch them all. This summer, we believe Meri Pyaari Bindu is the story to look out for!
