Marvel studios planning to make female superhero film

So far, the movie studio has only introduced one crime- fighting femme fatale in its films- Scarlett Johansson's S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Natasha Romanoff, also known as Black Widow.

Marvel studios, which has enjoyed incredible success with movies such as Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, is hoping to release a comic book movie featuring a female protagonist.

Speaking at Entertainment Weekly’s CapeTown film Fest, studio boss Kevin Feige said that they have a number of candidates from the comics and from the movies they’ve already made, but it’s just a matter of finding the right storyline, the right filmmaker and the right time, News 24 reported.

Responding to a suggestion from the crowd for a ‘She-Hulk’ movie, he said that it would be pretty great.

Elsewhere, Feige denied that the studio will make a new Daredevil movie after rights to the character reverted back to Marvel.
