Margot Robbie wore mother's wedding dress for secret nuptials

Suicide Squad star Margot Robbie tied the knot to longtime boyfriend and director Tom Ackerley wearing her mother's wedding dress.

The actress, who confirmed her marriage to Ackerley on Instagram, opted to wear the cream lace, off-the-shoulder dress that her mother, Sarie Kessler, wore to her own wedding about 30 years ago, reported People magazine.

The The Wolf of Wall Street star's gown did undergo some alterations by an Australian designer.

Robbie is very close to her mother. In 2014, the actress paid off her mother's mortgage to her Southport, Australia home.
