Malayalam actress abducted & molested, one held

A popular Malayalam actress was reportedly abducted, harassed and released by a group of unidentified persons late Friday night near Ernakulam town in Kerala, reports Malayala Manorama.

The group of men allegedly got into the actress' car near Athani in Angamaly. According to reports, she was harassed and assaulted till the car reached Palarivattom in Ernakulam. Then men reportedly took photos and videos of her. The actress' former driver Martin was allegedly one among the gang.

After the incident, the actress went to seek help at a director's house in Kakkanad, according to the Manorama report. The actress later spoke to the police and gave a statement about the incident.

A case has been registered with local goon Sunil Kumar as main accused. Her former driver has been arrested.
