Vidyut Jamwal has done the nation some good service. His physique and action-sequences in Commando have managed to inspire a young man from Rajasthan enough to make him register and train to be a commando.

Although the actor received a lot of appreciation for his role from the critics, audiences and fans expressing their desire to build a body like him, a note he received recently via his official page on Facebook revealed that a fan from Rajasthan was so inspired with Vidyut's performance that he got enrolled in a programme which trains entrants to become part of the army and the special para commando regiment. It is a 10 month long training regime and only after clearing every level does one stand a chance for the final selection process. The fan's (Himanshu GET HIS FULL NAME) effort has now borne fruit with him finally making through all the levels of the prelims and now being selected be part of the para commando force.

His message to Vidyut on his Facebook page read: Hey brother how are you? I would like to say because of you I didn't give up. Soon gonna join Indian armed forces as para commando. Thanks bro. Wishing you bright future.

Vidyut says, "Being an army kid myself, I feel incredibly humbled that I've been instrumental in inspiring someone to join the forces. Becoming a para commando isn't an easy feat and reading Himanshu's message on Facebook, I felt incredibly proud that he didn't give up. Nothing's more reassuring than knowing that your work has made a real difference to someone's life and has helped them chase their dreams."
