Maaya trailer: Shama Sikander sheds her 'bahu' look for this desi version of '50 Shades'

Shama Sikander was a household name, thanks to her cute and charming appearances on daily soaps. But for a few years, the actress has shown a different side of her personality to the world.

After opening up about her battle with depression and her suicide attempt, she has finally come on board as the lead in Vikram Bhatt's latest web series. Titled Maaya, the web-series will be a desi version of '50 Shades of Grey'

A story of a wife and her unconventional sexual desires, Maaya has Shama Sikander playing the wife with Veer Aryan playing her husband. Vipul Gupta of India Calling fame returns in a rather seductive and sexy avatar as the partner who Shama's character gets involved with. 

With dollops of sex and intimacy thrown in every scene, the 2 minute trailer sets tongues wagging for more. Bold, captivating and interesting - Vikram Bhatt's Maaya might bring in a digital revolution, if it can match up to people's expectations. There's almost everything for the show to make it work.
