LISTEN to Ellie Goulding and Kygo's collaboration 'First Time'

Kygo started his year with a foot-tapping number in collaboration with Selena Gomez for 'It Ain't Me.' The Norwegian DJ has now come with a new track 'First Time' featuring Ellie Goulding.

A song about the first time of falling in love in your teen ages feels dreamy because of the laidback tune of Kygo and smoky voice of Goulding. The singer reminisces the days gone by and wishes to do it all again.

The lyrics go,

Way back, when we tried our first cigarettes
Ten dollars was a fat stack

When the beat for 'First Time' starts it reminds you of The Chainsmoker's 2016 hit 'Closer' featuring Halsey. But let the first few seconds pass and feel the synth melody.

Goulding has been a favourite with the EDM crowd. Her collaboration with Calvin Harris for 'I Need Your Love' and 'Outside' reached Platinum status. Same was the case with 'Powerful' with Major Lazer.

'First Time' is Goulding's first song for 2017. 'Still Falling For You', her last single track, which featured in Bridget Jones's Baby, came out on August 19, 2016.
