Ranveer-Ranbir’s sizzling chemistry; Varun-Arjun’s hilarious acting skills; Shahid-Mira’s couple goals; Anushka-Katrina’s friendship and Kapil Sharma’s comic comebacks – this season of Koffee with Karan has been nothing short of impressive and memorable.
Karan has used his ‘Personal Relationships’ to invite Bollywood’s biggest stars to grace the Koffee couch, where he has put to use his charm and wit to convince his guests to answer ‘Personal Questions’.
Conversations have flowed and secrets have been spilled with humour and games, making Season 5 one of the most entertaining seasons of the talk show. Be it the impromptu acting and dancing challenges or the Rapid Fire Rounds or the daring Koffee Shots that led to many a revelation, the stars put their best foot forward.
And now it is time for them to be recognised for their many talents on the Koffee couch with the Koffee Awards! Joining Karan in choosing the winners are the gorgeous actresses, Malaika Arora and Neha Dhupia; AIB’s blue-eyed star-comedian, Rohan Joshi and talented director, Ayan Mukherjee.
The four join Karan on the Koffee couch to analyze, judge and decide winners across a number of categories from the best dressed male celebrity to the best female performance. The choices are tough and the judgments vary as Neha and Ayan can’t seem to agree on Shahid Kapoor being the best dressed male celebrity – according to Neha his ‘lining was off setting’, a term that leaves Rohan confused and the rest amused!
And with stars such as Katrina, Anushka, Alia and Priyanka amongst others vying for the best female performance award, making a choice is tough for the jury.
When no one on the couch can seem to come to a consensus, Ayan turns the tables and asks Karan which was his favourite episode from this season. While it isn’t surprising that Karan chooses the Ranbir-Ranveer episode, which was a serious mix of drama, honesty and hilarity; it sure does leave the four judges with eyebrows raised even as they pull Karan’s leg.
