Kim Kardashian's nude selfies have broken the Internet, one more time. But this time, she has received a lot of flak and faced a lot of backlash from the industry itself. But Kim, being the strong woman that she is, has voiced out her opinions and hit out at her detractors.

The 35-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star took to her website, kimkardashianwest.com, to pen an essay about her frustration with the media and "body shaming" phenomena. "In all seriousness, I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives," Kim wrote. "I don't do drugs, I hardly drink, I've never committed a crime - and yet I'm a bad role model for being proud of my body?"

The mother of two got backlashes from celebrities like Chloe Moretz and Bette Midler after she posted a nude selfie on her Instagram account. Kim still had a lot of people who supported her. She noted in her essay that she was grateful to be surrounded by people who loved her, especially her husband Kanye West. Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Abigail Breslin, Ariel Winter and Bella Thorne then chimed in to defend the star.

And after the Hollywood celebrities, Bollywood has also spoken up against body-shaming and supported the reality TV star. Sonam Kapoor and Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to condemn the ill-practice and clearly hit out at the critics. She also added that it wasn't just fat-shaming which is not a right thing to do, skinny-shaming is equally wrong. Anushka too supported what Sonam wrote.

We are now hoping that other Bollywood stars will follow suit as well.
