Karan Johar's birthday plans REVEALED

Karan Johar turns 45 today (May 25), and is hosting a big birthday bash for his Bollywood friends at his apartment. The guest list includes the three Khans — Aamir, Shah Rukh and Salman, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Manish Malhotra, Parineeti Chopra, Aditya Roy Kapur, Punit Malhotra, Farhan Akhtar, Anushka Sharma, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, Amrita Arora Ladak and Malaika Arora, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, among others. The filmmaker who celebrates his first birthday as a father, returned from London yesterday and has personally called people to invite them. A dance floor has been set up at Karan’s apartment, along with a DJ and bar. His kids Yash and Roohi won’t be at the party as it starts late evening. They will be sound asleep in their room upstairs, while the party is on the lower level.

Our DNA After Hrs columnist and filmmaker, Shirish Kunder who too turned 45 yesterday, had a working birthday. Shirish says, “I don’t like the focus on me. I don’t celebrate my birthdays or cut cakes as I don’t like celebrating them.” Farah and their children Czar, Anya and Divya however will take papa for a special lunch on Sunday.
