'Sabash Naidu' is being directed by T K Rajeev Kumar and will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan launched his next film on Friday morning. Titled Sabash Naidu, the movie stars his daughter Shruti Haasan with him. The stunning actress plays his reel daughter in the film which also stars top Telugu comedian Brahmanandam. At the launch event, Kamal Haasan stated that they would head to the US to start shoot of the film from May 14 and complete it by July.
This movie is being directed by TK Rajeev Kumar and will be shot in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This flick is a take-off from a character that Kamal Haasan played in Dasavatharam which the audience loved. One of the ten avatars was a character named Balram Naidu who was an investigative officer. In Sabash Naidu, Kamal reprises this role with Brahmanandam as his sidekick called 'Appa Rao'. In the Hindi version, it will be Saurabh Shukla who takes on the Appa Rao role.
Actress Ramya Krishnan will also be in the film in an important role. The movie is produced by Lyca Productions and maestro Ilaiyaraaja will score the music.
