Kader Khan produces a film starring his sons and grandson

Kader Khan has produced a film — In Your Arms. The film has three generations of his family associated with it. While Khan has written the film, his two sons Sarfaraz and Shah Nawaz Ali (also the director) are playing lead roles, and his eight-year-old grandson, Hamzaa (Sarfaraz’s son) also has a role of Sarfaraz’s son in the film.  It was an idea that the family was toying with for a long time and now it’s complete. They plan to show it in the festival circuit and then release it in theatres across India.

The film deals with the relationship between a husband and wife who are on the verge of a divorce. In time, the husband realises that he still loves his wife but it’s too late. Kader Khan confirms, “I always wanted to make a film with my sons and my grandson. While writing the script I thought that my son and my grandson fit the bill perfectly. The film is close to my heart. In Raj Kapoor’s Kal Aaj Aur Kal the three generations just acted together but here we all have played different roles while making the film. It’s a first of its kind. I’m very happy with the film.” Sarfaraz adds, “It is a family venture and we’ve all worked very hard on this film. Its shaped up beautifully. I’m very happy that dad is back to working actively.”
