Teenage pop star Justin Bieber is trying to grow his first moustache to participate in an annual charity event which boosts awareness about prostate cancer throughout the month of November.

This quirky initiative has been dubbed as Movember, under this project men across the world seek sponsorship to grow bushy facial hair.

The 17-year-old Baby hitmaker admits that he is attempting to grow a little moustache in the name of charity too, though the results have been pitiful.

"It's Movember, I'm growing it out. There's a little bit (of facial hair), but mostly on the upper lip area. I still have a high voice,” Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"(I won't shave it) 'til the end of November, and then I'm gonna shave it and then it's gonna be all good. Then it's gonna take another year-and-a-half to grow back!" he added.
