Justin Bieber has taken to Twitter to apologise to Bill Clinton after he was filmed swearing at a photo of the former US President.

On July 10, TMZ obtained a video of the singer urinating in a restaurant mop bucket - with the 19-year old later seen spraying cleaning fluid at a snap of Clinton and shouting: "F**k Bill Clinton."

The teen heartthrob can even be seen joking with his friends about the gift he was bestowing on lucky restaurant workers, Washington Times reported.

E! News has now reported that Justin has issued an apology to Bill, writing on his Twitter page: "@billclinton thanks for taking the time to talk Mr. President. Your words meant alot. #greatguy."

A source also told the website that Clinton was "relaxed" when it came to Bieber's actions, and is said to have said something similar to: "If that is the worst thing you have ever done, all is well."

It is thought that Justin also offered Bill his help with the Clinton Global Initiative, with Bill apparently asking the Boyfriend singer to 'focus on the good that he can do for the world.'

E! adds that Clinton also allegedly advised Justin to 'keep an eye on his friends' - who are thought to have leaked the video of the Baby hitmaker in the first place.
