Coldplay is all set to perform in India for the first time in association with Global Citizen India and the line up of celebs joining them has become even more exciting as Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar, among others, have also been included in it.
Earlier, it was already confirmed that Aamir Khan, A.R. Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Shraddha Kapoor and others will be a part of the Global Citizen festival. Now that SRK has also joined the bandwagon, fans are excited to see Shah Rukh and Aamir share the stage together.
Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar, who is also the Global Citizen India ambassador said in a statement, "As a country India is united with the world in fighting open defecation and improper sanitation. Our efforts in sanitation play an important role in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and also ensuring basic human dignity. I am pleased to lend my support to Global Citizen India in their efforts towards the sustainable development goals of water, sanitation and hygiene.”
Parineeti Chopra is another new artist to join the movement. She said, "“In today’s day and age, it is extremely necessary for every individual to work towards the sustainable development goals.
