John Abraham is somewhat of a loner but he loves to spend time with two B-Town directors – Dishoom director Rohit Dhawan and director Abhinay Deo.
John tells us, “Rohit is someone I am very close to, while I have developed a friendship with Abhinay over a period of time. I am working with him in Force 2 and realised that he’s a wonderful guy.
Rohit and I get along like a house on fire. He’s got an old head on his shoulders. A lot of people told me that I would get shortchanged in Dishoom as Rohit’s brother Varun was acting in the film too. I was like, ‘Ya so? Don’t even start this talk!’ I just nipped it in the bud because that thought didn’t even occur to me.
I know that Rohit is probably the fairest and the most unbiased person I know. These insecure things don’t exist between Rohit, Varun and me — it’s just pure love. I want to believe that, I live in that space.”
