JK Rowling wishes James Sirius Potter all the best for his first day at Hogwarts

JK Rowlings asks Harry Potter fans to wish his son James Sirius Potter, "good luck" as he heads for his first day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

James is the eldest half-blood wizard of Harry and Ginevra Potter.

September 1 is the day James heads to London's King's Cross station, Platform 9 and 3/4, to begin his magical journey, according to the story.

Rowling's tweet about James' departure sent fans into a frenzy.

I'm in Edinburgh, so could somebody at King's Cross wish James S Potter good luck for me? He's starting at Hogwarts today. #BackToHogwarts
