Miss India International 2014, Jhataleka Malhotra is all set to compete in Miss International 2014 pageant which will take place in Tokyo, Japan on Tuesday.

One of the forerunners for the crown, Malhotra finished as a second runner up of Femina Miss India 2014. But coming second is not holding her back as she prepares to represent India at the international event.

Malhotra  who is working hard to prepare said that she was grateful for this brilliant opportunity where she has the chance to make India and its people proud. She further added, "This year has been very fruitful and I am keenly looking forward to my stint at Miss International 2014". 

Right now Malhotra and other contestants are busy taking part in various exchange events as the "Ambassadors of Beauty and Peace". 

There are contestants from 80 countries will part take in the 54th edition of Miss International 2014. The final contest will be held at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa (Shinagawa, Tokyo) on November 11, 2014
