Mendes, director of Skyfall, returns to direct the latest addition to the Bond franchise and revealed that the upcoming film, dubbed 'Bond 24' till now, will be titled Spectre. Writers of Skyfall, John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade return to write for the film. Spectre will be shot at Pinewood London, Mexico City, Rome, Tangier & Erfoud, Morocco, Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altausee, Austria.

Here is the teaser poster-

Among the returning cast members are Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny with Rory Kinnear as Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q.

As seen in Skyfall, with the death of Judi Dench in the film, Ralph Fiennes takes over as head of MI6 and is now M.

Bond's car for the film will be the Aston Martin DB10.

Monica Belluci and Lea Seydoux join the cast as the Bond girls Lucia Sciarra and Madeleine Swann respectively. French actress Seydoux is best known for her role in the film Blue is the Warmest Colour, which won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2013.

Joining the cast is Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.

Fans have been speculating over who the Bond villain will be this time around. Speculations were rife that Andrew Scott would join the cast as the villain. Scott famously played Moriarty in the miniseries Sherlock, created by Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss. However, at the press conference, Mendes announced that Scott will be playing Denbigh.

David Bautista, of Guardians of the Galaxy fame, joins the cast as villainous henchman Hinx.
