Actor Hrithik Roshan is one of those few stars in B-Town who’ve actually managed to kick the butt. The actor has himself admitted that it wasn’t easy, but wasn’t impossible either, as he struggled for a couple of times before finally quitting completely. And on World No Tobacco Day today, the actor who’s known to strongly recommend no-smoking to his friends as well, says, “It’s not cool to smoke!”

Strongly advocating a healthy lifestyle, the actor adds, “All of us tend to take our health for granted, but you know, no one is invincible, not even heroes and that we need to take care of our bodies as much, which are often taken for granted.” The actor points out that giving up smoking also helped him deal with his back trouble better. “Today I have completely gotten over my back problem, but the scare was enough to bring about a lot of changes in my lifestyle. The back trouble had set off the alarm bells for me!” he smiles.

The actor, who’s at present shooting some rather intense action scenes for Krissh, does confess that the attraction to take a drag is always there, ‘but I think that when you consciously just make up your mind to do or not do something, you find the will power to stick to it too.’ The actor has apparently stayed off the stick for almost six to seven months now and insists that you don’t have to be a hero to kick the butt.

Meanwhile the actor, who’s been shooting non-stop since February for Krissh, first in Hyderabad and now in Mumbai is expected to wrap up the shoot by September and the actor also hopes to take a mini-break of two-three weeks in between. But despite finishing the film well on schedule, he reveals that as planned, the film will only be released next year. According to the actor, they were not keen to rush into the post production at all, and want to work comfortably on the special effects, which are the highlight of the film. Talking about donning the superhero suit again, he says, “It’s nervous, exciting!”
