After the success of his first album, Mind of Mine, Zayn Malik is gearing up to release his second solo album since One Direction split.
The latest song from the untitled album, was his collaboration with Sia for the song called 'Dusk Till Dawn.'
The singer released the song and video for the same in September 2017.
It featured Girls star Jemima Kirke and was directed by Spider-Man helmer Marc Webb.
In a series of posts on Instagram, on Tuesday the Brit singer teased a new composition. The posts consist of haunting visuals of piano keys, melancholy notes, and unintelligible lyrics which the singer croons over those notes.
The second part of the clip seems to have lifted the mood of the song.
One can also make out the lyrics - she wants somebody to love/ In the right wayyyy. This is a slow rendition of his song 'In the right way' from the first album.
Fourth clip shows Zayn hunched over a piano fiddling with the keys.
The tune doesn't seem familiar or a different version of his other songs.
But since one can see Zayn's glasses and a head full of hair, it is easy to speculate that the video is new!
The trippy fifth clip shows the continuation of the previous experiment.
This time the notes get more pleasant and soothing. Then the camera fades.
At press time, the five videos had collected more than 2 million views.
Given the inclusion of 'In the right way,' it is possible that Zayn is just reminiscing about the process he went through to get his first solo album out.
Zayn is yet to announce the release date of the second album.
The 24-year-old singer has been working hard on new music and is enjoying spending time at a studio close to a working farm near rural Pennsylvania as he's been getting involved in country life when he's not recording.
"The farm is out of the way and feels grounded. I do a lot of farm work. I take the horses out and feed the cows and that kind of stuff. It's cool. I've always been interested in animals," shared Malik.
Earlier, talking about the upcoming album he said that his next attempt is more organised than before.
"I feel like my songwriting definitely developed, just because I’ve been doing it so much. I feel like the songs are a bit more organised, where I felt like, before, that (debut) Mind of Mine was a brainstorm. That’s why I called it Mind of Mine, because it was ideas that I had that I put out. This one is more thought out. I had more time to process everything and go through it all. It’s an evolution," Zayn told VMAN.
