Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor say sorry, but no thanks to director Homi Adjania!

This may come as a surprise but Sonam Kapoor was the first choice for Finding Fanny Fernandes opposite her I Hate Luv Storys hero Imran Khan. It is learnt that director Homi Adjania first approached the Kapoor girl. Says a little birdie, “While people think that the current lead pair Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor are the first and only choice for the film, that is not the case.  Sonam and Imran had both been approached before Dippy and Arjun but they weren’t happy with the roles and excused themselves. While Sonam said no because her role wasn’t interesting enough Imran felt his role didn’t have much scope to perform.” Now the cat is out of the bag!
