Actor Imran Khan has just wrapped up the shoot of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola and will soon start prepping for his role in Milan Luthria’s sequel to Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai.

Since the movie is set in the underworld, Imran has decided to keep a month aside to prepare for the role. He wants  to research on the character before shooting for it. He is planning to meet a lot of people from Mumbai’s underbelly and only after interacting with them will decide on the look of the character. He will also work on how he wants the character to shape up. Says Imran, “I will be working very closely with Milan sir to get into the skin of the character. Since the character belongs to the underbelly of Mumbai, I will try and meet some people to observe their body language, dialect and imbibe the nuances.”

The actor, who is riding a high after two successful films, Delhi Belly and Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, is now trying films in different genres. His next film Matru ki Bijli Ka Mandola, has him playing a rustic Haryanvi boy, for which he had his ears pierced and even learnt the language. With Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai sequel, Imran will be seen playing a typical Mumbai tapori.
