Lionsgate's The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 has topped the weekend box office for the third time in a row with $21.6 million, making its domestic total a staggering $257.7 million, while the global total becomes $560.5 million.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, DreamWorks Animation's Penguins of Madagascar stayed at No. 2 in its second weekend with $11.1 million for a domestic total of $49.6 million, followed by Horrible Bosses 2 with $8.6 million.
The estimated top 10 films for the weekend box office are:
