Hold your horses! Graham Norton has not quit Twitter

After several reports said Graham Norton was quitting Twitter, the TV host refuted the claims... on Twitter.

Not sure where the Norton quits Twitter story came from. Clearly it's not true. Hello Twitter!

The 53-year-old chat show host has over 1.2 million followers.

Talking on his BBC Radio 2 show, the comedian had quipped: "I prefer Facebook because I have real friends there who agree with me. But on Twitter, not so much. I have kind of fallen out of love with Twitter. It's not a happy world so I have left it." Norton said he was sick and tired of all of the hateful comments people post on it.

Norton's Twitter account is still posting automated links to his regular column in The Telegraph. He hadn't posted any tweets himself since June 22 until Monday.
