Hip Hop Thamizha to debut in Telugu with Ram Charan's 'Thani Oruvan' remake

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s most awaited project, the remake of the hit Tamil film Thani Oruvan in Telugu, is all set to start shooting this month. It is tentatively titled as Rakshak under the direction of Surender Reddy.

According to the buzz in Tollywood, this film will have its official launch on February 10. It will be a private affair followed by the pooja ceremony. The regular shooting of Rakshak will commence from 21 February in Hyderabad.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh is going to reprise the role of Nayanthara in the remake. Rakul and Charan have worked earlier for the film Bruce Lee and have a good working relationship. Now, they are going to pair up once again for this thrilling cop drama. Arvind Swami is going to reprise his role once again as antagonist in the Telugu version.

For the first time, Hip Hop Tamizha are going to compose tunes in the Telugu version of the Jayam Raja film. They were the music directors for the Tamil film and the songs were a big hit.

This film is being produced by Allu Aravind under Geetha Arts banner and presented by S Radha Krishna. The story is by Mohan Raja.
