Yo Yo Honey Singh who has been indisposed due to ill-health for quite some time will not be a part of Raw Star anymore. The rapper was to return to the sets yesterday but couldn't and Himesh Reshammiya has taken over as the mentor in the show. Says a source, "Yo Yo Honey Singh was supposed to be back on the sets yesterday, but he called to say that he is still unwell and the doctor has advised him two months bed rest." Since the show started, Honey who made his TV debut with the musical talent hunt has shot only for six episodes. He suffered an accident in America and had to opt out of The Slam! tour. Even on Raw Star other celebrities like Himesh Reshammiya, Meet Brothers, Salim Suleiman etc, had been mentoring the show in his place. Himesh was so impressed with the talent that he had signed three singers to record a song for him. So, when Honey expressed his inability to be a part of the show, the makers approached Himesh. "The singer-composer had liked the show so much that he expressed his desire to be associated with Raw Star. When the makers approached him, he readily agreed and now he will be mentoring the remaining four episodes," adds the source.
