Heard this? Alia Bhatt to work with 'Lunchbox' director

After Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya, the only films that Alia Bhatt has signed are Dragon with Ranbir Kapoor and Gully Boy with Ranveer Singh. The actress is choosy about her films and likes quirky roles. But a Bollywood trade person tells us, “Alia has liked Lunchbox director Ritesh Batra’s script and is on board principally. It was her mentor Karan Johar, who had co-produced Lunchbox, who got Ritesh to give the actress a narration as he loved the script. Ritesh was initially a little hesitant as he thought Alia was too big an actress to even approach. But Alia loved the story too. Right now the dates and financials are being worked out.”
