Elsa's empowering number 'Let it Go' is already a major gay anthem.

Disney's animated hit Frozen was progressive in many ways as it focused on the strength of women and hence, for the sequel of the movie, fans want Elsa as its first LGBT princess.
Elsa's own journey of acceptance with her powers has widely been interpreted as a metaphor for coming out from the umbrella of a traditional princess, reports the Independent.
Moreover, Elsa's big, empowering number 'Let it Go' has already become a major gay anthem.
Hence, a campaign under #GiveElsaAGirlfriend is doing round to encourage Disney animation to improve LGBT representation in its movies with its first gay princess.

Disney, #GiveElsaAGirlfriend you have no idea how many little girls (and all little kids tbh) you could help accept and love themselves

Frozen was also widely praised as being one of the studio's most LGBT-friendly productions yet as Jonathan Groff is Disney Animation's first openly gay actor to play the protagonist's love interest.
