Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's wife Gauri today refused to answer questions about her family's driver being arrested for allegedly raping a minor maid.

The 43-year-old producer-interior designer along with her son Aryan and daughter Suhana, was in the capital to inaugurate a bakery shop 'The Brown Box' of her cousin Priyanka Tiwari.

This was Gauri's first public appearance since the case came to light.

"I will not answer any personal questions. I am here for my sister's bakery launch and will only speak about that. I am here to bless her and share her joy with her as it was her dream to open her own bakery store one day and I am happy to be a part of the day," she told reporters here.

"If I will talk about my own things then the focus would be shifted from her (Priyanka). And I don't want that to happen," the mother of three said.

Dressed in blue denims teamed with a white top, Gauri said it has always been a bliss to visit her hometown.

"I am from Delhi and I spent all my childhood and teenage here. It feels great to be here as my parents are in Delhi," she said.

On June 25, Mumbai police arrested Shah Rukh's driver for allegedly raping the minor girl, who worked as a help at a former actress' house.

Here's the case:

The Bandra police on Wednesday arrested the driver of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan for allegedly raping and threatening a domestic help, reportedly working at the residence of an actress. The arrested person has been identified as Rajendra Gautam Mishra, alias Pintu, a Saki Naka resident.

According to police sources, the complainant, who claims to be a minor, hails from Latur. “She came to the city nearly five months ago and got a job at the residence of a yesteryear actress. Some time ago, she came in contact with Mishra,  who promised her employment at the SRK’s place,” said an officer from Bandra police station.

He said that on the basis of Mishra’s assurance, the complainant quit her job on June 17th and met Mishra on June 20th. “She has told us that Mishra took her to a lodge in Nalasopara and raped her. He also threatened her if she revealed anyone about the incident,” the officer added.

Mishra has been entrusted with the job of ferrying the actor’s children between school and  home. Mishra will be produced before a court on Thursday. Meanwhile, cops said they will get a medical test conducted on the complainant.
