Fast & Furious 7 has hit US $800 million mark at the global box office only in its second weekend.
The Universal movie, the final film from the late Paul Walker, earned another US $195 million overseas from 66 markets for a foreign total of US $548 million.
Domestically, Furious 7 earned US $60.6 million to end the weekend with a 10-day total of US $252.2 million, which is more than the US $239 million that Furious 6 collected in entire run, said the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie debuted in China on Sunday to US $68.6 million, the biggest single-day gross in history for the world's second-largest moviegoing market. Its collection in India stands at US $20.8 million, in Mexico it is US $39.7 million, followed by US$ 39.1 million in the UK, US $28.3 million in Germany, US $23.5 million in Brazil, US $23.1 million in Australia, US $20.7 million in France, US $18.8 million in Taiwan, US $16.3 million in Argentina, US $16.2 million in Italy and US $16.1 million in South Korea.
