Arijit Singh has been in the news lately because of his dropped track from Sultan and his alleged tiff with Salman Khan. However, he is now back to doing what he does best, singing in a voice that makes hearts melt.

The latest is that Arijit has sung a song written by none other than former Union Minister, Kapil Sibal for the upcoming film, Shorgul. The music composer for the film is Zitar maestro, Niladri Kumar. Sibal penned down the promotional track for the socio-political drama called 'Tere bina.

As reported by News18.com, Sibal said, '"Tere Bina' is a track that will create a long lasting impact and touch many lives. I have spent close to nine months in developing this track along with Niladri whose music I'm very fond of." With themes of love and separation, the slow number also features Niladri Kumar playing the zitar. The song will feature the lead actress, Suha Gezen, a Turkish supermodel.

Arijit Singh has added an extra special element to the track by training underprivileged children to join him in the chorus. Niladri Kumar, who turns music composer for the first time, said, "We have given an opportunity to underprivileged children to showcase their musical talent to the world and started the process of 'Be the change you wish to see in the world'."

Shorgul is set in Uttar Pradesh and stars Jimmy Shergill, Eijaz Khan, Ashutosh Rane and Sanjay Suri in the lead roles. It tackles issues like intolerance and the cost humanity is paying because of the religious, social, political and economic conditions in the country. Shorgul releases on June 10.
