'Fifty Shades Darker' star Jamie Dornan in talks for 'Robin Hood: Origins'

Actor Jamie Dornan is in negotiations to star in Robin Hood: Origins. If things work out, the Fifty Shades of Grey actor, will star as Will Scarlett, a fine-dressing but short-fused expert swordsman, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Directed by Otto Bathurst the film will see Scarlett getting married to Robin Hood's amour, Maid Marian (Eve Hewson). Production on Robin Hood, which also sees Jamie Foxx starring as Little John, begins in Budapest in January. 

Dornan's next release is Fifty Shades Darker which will see him return as Christian Grey with Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele in the adaptation of the second installment in EL James' book series.

The trailer for Fifty Shades Darker dethroned Star Wars: The Force Awakens to become the most popular by garnering 114 million views in 24 hours. The film is set for a February release.
