Diaper duty many not be every man's cup of tea, but these Hollywood celebs didn't mind giving it a shot even after they turned 50. While some were newbies, most of them already knew the perils of fatherhood.

Alec Baldwin
Age: 57
After divorcing wife Kim Basinger, with whom he had one daughter – Ireland – in 2002, the actor married Hilaria Thomas. The couple had their first daughter, Carmen, on August 23,2013 when he was 55. Currently, Hilaria is pregnant again. They are expecting their second child later this year.

Steve Martin
Age: 69
Steve Martin welcomed his first child into the world in December 2012. He was 67 then. The actor, who is married to Anne Stringfield, was previously married to British actress Victoria Tennant from 1986 until their divorce in 1994. He hasn't yet revealed the name of his daughter to the media.

Dennis Quaid
Age: 61
Dennis Quaid was 38 when he had his first son – Jack Henry - with actress Meg Ryan. Fifteen years later, when he was 53 when he and his third wife Kimberly Buffington became parents to fraternal twins Thomas and Zoe.

Rod Stewart

Being daddy wasn't anything new to Rod Stewart, who already had six kids before he turned 60. The last two addition to the Stewart brood were in 2005 and 2011. In 2005, Rod had his son Alastair and in 2011 he and wife Penny Lancaster-Stewart became parents once again to Aiden.

In 1977, Michael married Diandra Luker, 14 years his junior. They had one son together, Cameron. He married Catherine Zeta Jones, 25 years his junior, in 2000. He was 56 when their son Dylan Michael was born in 2000). At 59, he became daddy once again to daughter Carys Zeta (2003).

Age: 74
Nick Nolte and his girlfirend Clytie Lane became parents to Sophie Lane in 2007. The actor was 66 at that time. Before this, the former Sexiest Man Alive had his first daughter with wife Rebecca Linger when he was 45.

He started late and obviously has been in a hurry to catch up with other men his age. In September 2011, Grant had a daughter, Tabitha, with Tinglan Hong, a receptionist at a Chinese restaurant in London. His daughter's Chinese name is Xiao Xi, meaning "happy surprise" was born when he was 51. The couple reportedly briefly reunited in 2012. Their son, Felix, was born in February 2013. He also has a third child born in September 2012 with Swedish television producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein.

Bruce Willis
Age: 60
Bruce Willis had three daughters - Rumer Willis, Scout LaRue Willis and Tallulah Belle Willis with wife Demi Moore before the couple divorced in 2000. The actor then married Emma Heming in 2009 with whom he had Mabel Ray Willis in 2012, when the Die Hard actor was 57. Their second daughter Evelyn Penn Willis was born two year later in 2014 when the actor turned 59.

On April 26, 1986, Arnold Schwarzenegger married Maria Shriver, niece of President John F. Kennedy. The couple had four children together before getting divorced in 2011. After Katherine, Christina, and Patrick, they became parents to Christopher, who was born in 1997 when Arnold was 50. The actor-turned-politician also had fathered a son with an employee in their household, Mildred Patricia 'Patty' Baena around the same time that Christopher was born.

Paul McCartney
Age: 72
