Farhan Akhtar finally confirms!

Confirming the project and casting Farhan says, “We’ve cast Katrina and Siddharth in Nitya’s film. Both the actors have very unusual roles in the film. It’s important to try out new pairs and permutations, as these work to make audiences curious about a film."

A source reveals, “Nitya had her script ready a couple of years ago. She had actors including Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan on her wishlist. Both of them had liked the script but chose to act in Mohenjodaro and Dangal respectively. The film was put on the backburner for a while as she got busy with her wedding preparations. She got married in Delhi recently and after the festivities, decided to get back to work on her debut venture. Recently Sidharth read the script and really liked it. Katrina shares a great equation with Farhan agreed to come on board. The fresh pairings in B-Town has already piqued the interest of the audience and the makers are cashing in on that."

The film will go on floors after Katrina finishes work on Fitoor and Sid wraps up Kapoor & Sons. Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment was not available for comment.
