EXCLUSIVE: Om Puri's body goes for post-mortem at Cooper Hospital, here's what the doctor says

The news of the sudden demise of veteran Bollywood actor Om Puri shook the entire nation on Friday morning. As per reports, he suffered a massive heart attack in the morning. 

The police has taken Om Puri's body to the Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital in Juhu for a post-mortem which is likely to be completed around 3 pm. Confirming the same and providing further information, Shabana Azmi tweeted, "OM Puri undergoing postmortem at Cooper Hospital.Will be taken to Trishul around 3pm Funeral at Oshiwara electric crematorium around 6pm."

When we spoke to Dr. Ganesh Shinde, Dean at Cooper Hospital, about the cause death, he exclusively informed us, "The forensic team that is conducting a post mortem and will give their initial impression. The samples of the different organs will then be sent to the lab in Karina for further testing and the report will take some time. At the moment it is difficult to say anything about the exact cause of death. Only after the post-mortem will we be able to say anything." 

Following the post-mortem, a police official told DNA, "There is nothing suspicious about his death."
